    You don’t have to be an Einstein to ask a question!

    So often we take things for granted, and therefore no longer question with childlike simplicity, “Why is the grass green?”
    Yesterday’s miracles , become today’s mundane, “Blah, blah, blah!” “OK, what’s next?” We sit in groups texting forgetting to talk to each other! Who has the time to write a letter to a dear friend in cursive script or to solve a complex math problem with pencil and paper?”

    Einstein never stopped questioning or lost his sense of wonder about G-d’s world and His creations.
    Did you know that Einstein was also an accomplished amateur violinist who played in a string quartet? Did you know that there was a time, during his teenage years, when he explored Judaism, the Bible and even kept kosher during that year? Einstein’s curiosity eventually led him to discover universal truths.

    Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi (1745-1812) defined our intellectual service of G-d and the search for truth, by saying, “the path of service does not involve breaking down mountains, shattering boulders, and overturning the world, as some people mistakenly think.The simple truth is that any activity or endeavor, whatever it may be, if it is carried out with sincere intent, suffices: a blessing recited with concentration; the words of prayer with a prepared heart and with a knowledge of “before Who one stands”,
    a verse form the Chumash [The 5 Books of Moses] with the awareness that it is the Word of G-d;
    a verse from Tehillim [Psalms] , or the positive trait of of drawing one’s friend close with love and affection.
    True, to attain this requires awesome and tremendous exertion. One must study extensively and with understanding, every individual according to his[or her] level.
    G-d will help him [or her] so that the efforts will be genuine.” Tackling Life’s Tasks: HaYom Yom .2 Adar
    Think of what we may accomplish with simple faith and a heartfelt question?
